With spring now upon us, it’s not long to go until outdoor bowls resumes. Please come along to the opening of the green on Sunday 12th April at 13:00. Open to anyone to try. We look forward to seeing you there!

At the club’s AGM in December, the winners and runners up of our annual club competitions were presented with their well-deserved trophies. A full list of winners and some photos can be found below. On Friday 30th August Swindon Bowls Club held a Sponsors Social Evening for Affleck Mechanical and Affleck Electrical Services and Pearce Funeral Services. Members of the club and our Sponsors joined the evening to try their hand at bowls and enjoy some food and a few drinks. An excellent evening was had by all, with lots of laughter on and off the green!

Our new season begins soon.

The green opens on Sunday 7th April 2024 (Providing the weather is kind so the green-keeping team can ensure the green is playable)

It will then be open daily from 12:00 noon daily for members to bowl providing the weather is OK and the green-keeping team deem the green suitable for play

If you are interested in learning to play lawn bowls or are unhappy with your present club and want to join a friendly club, then call in to see us Tuesday mornings or most evening after the 7th April 24.
